Our international students achieve employment in a wide and diverse set of careers with many becoming world-leading researchers in their chosen research areas.

Students based at the John Innes Centre have access to the great scientific and technical facilities offered on site and on the Norwich Research Park as a whole. Specific overseas student support is available to students registered with the University of East Anglia which boasts an population of over 3500 students from outside the UK.  The welcoming, accessible and multicultural environment offered at the Norwich Research Park provides the ideal environment for your time studying in the UK.

yiliang“There is an atmosphere of openness at the JIC, allowing me to get lots of interaction with other project leaders and students who in turn give me valuable advice and comments on my research. I have also greatly enjoyed the opportunity to travel to international conferences. These have given me an insight into the research activities of the wider scientific community”

– Dr Yiliang Ding, PhD alumna & current John Innes Centre Project Leader
